Meet Justin: Our General Manager

Justin joined LUXE BAKERY over six years ago as General Manager and hasn’t looked back. Justin has led our business from only supplying Sydney Metro to now supplying Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Central Coast and Newcastle where we offer online ordering and next day delivery.

Justin is often seen out on the road, spending time talking to customers and understanding their business needs. One of the hot topics of conversation is new products! Justin spends a lot of time assessing the gaps in the market and what customers would like to see from LUXE. Some of our most popular products started this way.

What does Justin love about Artisan baking? His passion comes from a deep respect for the process; long fermentation gives the dough time to develop a much better flavour and texture and with fewer ingredients and no additives the emphasis is on the hand-making; it really is handmade with heart. Flour, water, salt & time…. It sounds so simple, but watching the team of skilled bakers constantly gives him a new appreciation for the effort that goes into every loaf.

When Justin isn’t enjoying the company of our team he is visiting one of his favourite places; Diggies, Wollongong. He grew up in Wollongong and it is a place close to his heart, having spent many summers at North Beach surfing.

When we asked Justin what his favourite LUXE Bakery product was, of course he couldn’t just pick one! He said he can’t live without LUXE BAKERY’s Sourdough for his breakfast: he has two slices every day and can’t eat anything else if he runs out because nothing digests quite like Artisan bread and a freshly baked White Choc Chip & Macadamia Cookie keeps him company on the drive home.
